DAC reviews are research aggregations compiled from manufacturer specifications, operator field reports, and verified community data. They are not professional advice of any kind — legal, medical, tactical, or otherwise.
No content on this site should be interpreted as a recommendation to take or refrain from any specific action. You are solely responsible for your purchasing decisions and any use of products described on this site.
Reviews of medical equipment — including tourniquets, IFAKs, chest seals, hemostatic agents, and related products — are informational research aggregations only. They do not constitute medical advice and are not a substitute for formal training.
Proper instruction from a qualified instructor is required before using any life-safety equipment in an emergency. Improper application of medical interventions can cause serious injury or death. DAC strongly recommends Stop the Bleed certification and completion of TCCC (Tactical Combat Casualty Care) or TECC (Tactical Emergency Casualty Care) training before relying on any medical gear.
A high DAC score on a tourniquet means nothing if you have not practiced applying it under stress. Train with the equipment you carry.
Reviews of firearms and accessories on this site are for informational purposes only. Nothing on this site constitutes legal advice regarding the purchase, ownership, carry, or use of firearms.
Always comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws governing firearm ownership and use. Observe safe storage requirements. Follow the four fundamental rules of firearm safety at all times. DAC assumes no liability for any outcome arising from firearm use by readers of this site.
Direct Action Collective is an independent publication. DAC is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the United States military, the Committee on Tactical Combat Casualty Care (CoTCCC), the Department of Defense, or any federal, state, or local government agency.
References to military adoption, institutional fielding, or SOF/LE use are factual citations drawn from publicly available sources. These citations indicate that an organization has adopted a product — they do not constitute an endorsement of DAC or its content by those organizations.
